Interesting analysis of Federer’s serve. His control is so amazing it looks like something out of Prince of Tennis (which, favourite manga/anime of mine as it is, has never been terribly realistic).

I mean, the fact that in both instances in the video his service motion was exactly the same was impressive enough. Add to that the two hugely contrasting paths of the balls (not to mention the fact that they both hugged the line) and, ladies and gentlemen, here’s further proof that he’s the greatest tennis player ever.

This is also the reason why I will never be a competent tennis player. Darn serve.

well, i know that he’s a good player, but you sure this isnt some photoshop or some video editing tool that makes him look too good?

Nope, it was a shot analysis video from during the match itself (which was Wimbledon 2009, a few weeks ago) so cannot fake haha. They sometimes do these kinds of things.

Anyway, he’s always been known to have amazing control on his serve. I’ve just never seen it presented like this before hahaha.
